After earning his Bachelor of Science in biological science at Florida State University, Dr. West began his career sharing his enthusiasm for science and sports as a teacher and coach at Palm Beach Lakes High School. His students benefited from his hands-on approach as he taught biology, and coached soccer, swimming, and volleyball. He continued his academic journey at Florida Atlantic University, earning his Florida teaching certificate and a master’s degree in environmental science.
Dr. West’s love for South Florida’s natural beauty led him to work as a head biologist for EnviroGlades, Inc., protecting and restoring vital coral reefs, wetlands, and estuaries—an experience that shaped his caring approach to patient well-being.

In 2001, Dr. West fulfilled his dream of becoming an orthodontist, attending Temple University in Philadelphia. There, he excelled academically as president of his dental class and of the Temple University Society for the Study of Orthodontics. Graduating summa cum laude, Dr. West earned both his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry and an MBA. His orthodontic residency at Temple included research on Invisalign® effectiveness, establishing him as a leading authority on clear aligner treatment for teens and adults.
